I'm a private carer for the elderly in Barnsley, with 27 years experience and qualified to NVQ Care level 4. I currently have clients where I do shopping, cook fresh homemade hot/frozen meals in their homes or in my kitchen and deliver. Exercises, hot drinks and chat and I carry out various care duties such as washing/dressing, medication and assist with mobility. I have clients who are in their late 90's and also some with dementia. I work with patience and understanding with a lot of knowledge and common sense. I work in the way that I treat others the way I'd like to be treated myself. I've cared for clients with a wide range of health conditions. I could write a book about my career and I will one day. I work with passion for wellbeing. I want to give clients a better quality of life. For my current clients they have a self- designed support plan which documents important info. This keeps everything working like clockwise and to a safe standard. I can work one in 3 weekends I come uniformed and I work to professional and high standards. I really enjoy what I do.
