I have been working within the care sector for 3 years, once I left school I applied to study Paramedic Science at university which I got into and completed a year and then left to focus on myself and getting more experience within care. I have been working within the care sector for 3 years, once I left school I applied to study Paramedic Science at university which I got into and completed a year and then left to focus on myself and getting more experience within care. I am now currently in the process of *hopefully* getting into Adult Nursing in university which would start this year. I love caring for others, it’s a passion. Being able to make improvements within an individuals life is empowering and inspiring. I’ve had experience as a HCSW on the NHS working within hospitals which gave me a wide range of knowledge with different illnesses, and disabilities. I’ve also done home care where I supported with companionship and promoting medication, and also supporting those to get up and dressed for the day ahead. I have experience working within Quarriers with young adults with autism and other learning disabilities and thoroughly enjoyed this work. I supported these individuals out within the community and also with personal care and medication. I’m willing to help anyone no matter the circumstances. I have my full manual handling which I have completed the course a good few times throughout university and every care job I’ve been in.
