My approach to care is rooted in respect, empathy, and a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for every person I support.
My professional journey began in the British Armed Forces, where I served as a Communication Operator. This role instilled in me the values of discipline, integrity, and reliability — qualities that have shaped my approach to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
Since transitioning into the care sector, I have worked across a range of settings including residential homes, community support, and live-in care. Through positions with respected organisations such as Safehands Recruitment, Aspire, River Valley Care, and Kemble Care, I have developed strong expertise in:
* Providing personal care and emotional support
* Supporting individuals with complex needs, dementia, and learning disabilities
* Administering and recording medication accurately
* Promoting independence, dignity, and choice
* Maintaining clear communication with families and healthcare professionals
I’ve had experience overseeing and coordinating of care plans, manage client wellbeing, and ensure that care delivery meets professional and regulatory standards. I also provide direct one-to-one live-in support where needed, delivering a consistent and trusted presence for clients.
My two years of experience as a Radiography Department Assistant further strengthened my clinical awareness, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
As a self-employed live-in care provider, I pride myself on offering reliable, flexible, and compassionate care that enables clients to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. I build trusting relationships through open communication, cultural sensitivity, and a person-centred approach that prioritises each client’s individuality and preferences.
When starting with a new live in client, I prefer to have a 1 week settling in period after this period if everything is suitable I can extend my care to a rotation of 2 weeks on 1 week off.
I am looking for live in clients within an 1 hour travelling distance from HR2 Hereford postcode area.
During my 2 weeks off from live in care I am able to work with local clients in my area providing day time care and night time care.
I am fully committed to continuous professional development and maintaining high standards of care in line with CQC expectations. My goal is to continue providing outstanding live-in care services that truly make a positive difference in people’s lives.
