    l am a self-motivated individual with true hard work and very determined to achieve success in life. My interest in mental health nursing emerged when I came to the UK way back in 2002. I used to work in a dementia ward and the love for people gave me an inspiration to learn more about mental health...More l am a self-motivated individual with true hard work and very determined to achieve success in life. My interest in mental health nursing emerged when I came to the UK way back in 2002. I used to work in a dementia ward and the love for people gave me an inspiration to learn more about mental health. I realised that where I come from, we had no in-depth knowledge about mental health illnesses. So, in April 2009, I joined Brendoncare nursing home where I started my journey as a healthcare worker. I rose to a position of a senior carer. My knowledge of working with the elderly was enhanced and I saw this as an opportunity to study further and to gain more in-depth knowledge. I continued to work as a support worker and working closely with the qualified staff in mental health. In 2015, I decided to enrol with my local college in Alton where I achieved a diploma in nursing. I then decided to further up my studies by enrolling myself with Middlesex University London and managed to achieve a degree in mental health nursing.
