My objectives are to achieve job satisfaction and personal development, with a determination to embrace challenges and innovate solutions. Being self-motivated enables me to utilise my effective communication skills to support and care for vulnerable individuals with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours. I assist service users with bathing, grooming, and getting dressed, while also providing mental and emotional support, preparing and serving meals, and handling household chores and laundry. I collaborate with other staff to ensure the best care for service users, preventing and managing instances of violence and aggression. Additionally, I provide companionship, engage in meaningful conversation, and work as part of a team.
I have acquired knowledge and skills in caring for the elderly with early and advanced dementia, anxiety, and schizophrenia. I have also received training on syringe drivers and end-of-life care from St Luke’s. I have provided care for young adults with tracheostomies, epilepsy, seizures, oxygen needs, and suction.
I have experience working in hospitals, care homes, and home care, managing long-term care and end-of-life situations. I am flexible and can work short hours between 09:30–14:30 and 17:00–22:00, as well as night shifts on a weekly basis. I am also happy to work with both male and female clients.
I am willing to learn new skills as well. If you would like more information about my skills, please contact me through Curam to obtain further details.
