Over the last 2.6 years, I have trained and worked with children with complex needs who are non-verbal, which has helped me to understand basic Makaton sign language. I have worked with clients affected by dementia, learning disabilities, and behaviours that challenge, as well as providing end-of-life care. I have experience with personal care, medication prompting, and more. I strive to provide a high level of care using a person-centred approach, which enables me to get to know my clients and thereby facilitate their preferences and needs.
