I have experience assisting with personal care, mobility support, medication prompts, meal preparation, continence care, companionship and daily living activities. I am confident supporting clients with reduced mobility, balance issues and cognitive challenges, and I understand the importance of patience, reassurance and clear communication when working with stroke survivors.
I am committed to supporting individuals to remain in their own homes for as long as possible, maintaining routines that bring comfort and normality. I work closely with families, health professionals and other care providers to ensure consistent, safe and high-quality care. I am observant and proactive, able to recognise changes in health or wellbeing and act promptly in the client’s best interests.
