I have worked with clients with various diagnosis and complex care and support needs including mental health, dementia, depression, anxiety, challenging behaviours and physical health problems including wheelchair users, mobility problems, stroke recovery, sight and hearing impairment etc. I provide my services of not only a carer, but also a companion. I enjoy joining the people I care for to any activities they enjoy, being it at home or in the community. As I am a driver, no journey is too far for me. I am committed to provide the best care possible and I treat everyone as an individual, tailoring my care and support to meet specific needs. I have the resilience and drive to cope with the demands and pressures of the job including coping effectively at times of crisis. I have experience of working with a diverse of people, including black and minority ethnic clients, families, communities and professionals. I am hard working, approachable and I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. My desire and dedication to providing care and support to others has been ingrained in me from childhood where I grew up in a household of 9 children where 4 children were fostered. Up to 1,000,000 covering claims against you if you have accidentally caused Bodily Injury or Damage to Property.
Up to 1,000,000 covering claims made against you for Professional Negligence in your role as a carer.
Where necessary the Insurer will appoint legal counsel to defend claims made against you under either of the above Liability sections.
