I am a patient, kind, and reliable person, and I enjoy helping others in their daily lives. I have worked with people who have limited mobility and with those at the end of life. As a live-in carer, I understand how important it is to create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I always try to treat each person with respect and dignity, and to support their individual needs. I am also a former teacher, which has helped me develop good communication skills and a lot of patience. As well I am trained in nursing. Even though I did not work as a nurse, the knowledge I gained helps me every day in my caring role. I believe that being a carer is not only about helping with physical needs, but also about offering companionship. I like to talk with people, listen to them, and support them to feel valued and not alone. In my free time, I enjoy photography, gardening, traveling, and mindfulness. These help me stay calm and positive in my work. Caring is not just a job for me—it is something I truly care about.
