I have worked in different sectors of care such as in hospitals, residential and care homes, supported living homes, day centres, and supporting or caring for individuals in their own homes. For the last 15 years I have been delivering care as a live in carer and I have cared for 2 long term clients within this time. I am very well trained and I have certificates to prove that. I am kind, compassionate, patient, honest and very hard working, to name the few. I love my work as it gives me pleasure to be able to give my services to those who are not able or no longer able to help themselves. My clients are my priority. I respect their privacy and dignity, and they always come first before me. I am also very keen to learn from them too and I am a good listener. When starting with a new client I prefer to have a 2 week settling in period, after this time if everyone is happy with my services I can deliver 6 weeks of care and 1 week off. I am happy to travel throughout the UK as long as travelling expenses are covered both ways by my future clients. I hold a clean UK driving licence and I am comfortable driving clients manual cars if required.
