Whilst working in social care since 2000, my values changed and adapted. I realised that recognising and supporting people's values was very important. The experience I have gained in life so far both personally and professionally will ensure that I carry out the role of a Live in Carer to the necessary standards. It is the job I feel comfortable in and I really enjoy making a difference to people's lives, and I also gain a tremendous amount of job satisfaction when I can visibly see the difference my support is making to others. I have a good ethic and experience in supporting people and also adhere to rules, regulations and procedures.

    Sheila ia a truly wonderful live in carer for our Mum. She is kind and compassionate and encourages Mum to live life to its fulles, maintaining as much independence and dignity as possible. She is empathetic and really understands what is needed - not just by Mum but for us as a family as we navigate our changing lives with Mum's deteriorating dementia.
