The husband said I had made myself indispensable and that he felt safe with me looking after him; helping him with continence care and dressing him in his favourite clothes, helping him shave with his electric razor and keeping everything clean how he liked it - person centred care at its best. His wife relied on me and felt at ease when I was there; helping her with her beauty routine, haircare with special products, and online shopping for clothes & shoes so she could look her best.
