Because of my background as a pediatric nurse, I am the person trained in case of an emergency like seizures or any other case. I moved to the UK in 2007 and I started working in a support work/caring environment. I supported individuals with different degrees of physical or learning impairments, degenerative diseases (Dementia/Alzheimer’s) or who were in receipt of palliative care. I kept track of patients/client medication and ensured that the correct dosages were taken at the right times and an accurate log was kept of this data for future use/inspection. I am looking for a live-in care work on a 6 weeks on pattern. Als, the weeks of can be discussed. Through experience and by following the procedure, I have learnt to cope with all cases and provide the support and understanding required for the best possible outcome.
