During my time in live-in , I was looking after patient who had dementia and communicating with her was becoming a challenge, I developed some communication skills that helped us in ...More I am a very dedicated person when it comes to my work, I always put effort to make sure I achieve the maximum output. During my time in live-in , I was looking after patient who had dementia and communicating with her was becoming a challenge, I developed some communication skills that helped us in day to day duties I have also worked with agencies as a carer in different care homes, and that future my understanding of how to deal with different situations as most residents had different needs. I am looking for clients within a travelling distance of 1.5 hours travelling distance from my G23 Glasgow postcode and has good transport links. I am in the process of learning how to drive. I class myself as a good cook, it is something that I enjoy doing for my clients. I like to sit down and discuss what they enjoy eating and then cook according to there dietary requirements. When I start with any new clients, I prefer to have 1 week settling in period where I get to know my clients needs and I then discuss with client/clients family members the period of care rotation I can safely deliver.
