Within the care sector, I have enjoyed working in various settings such as; adult residential homes, children's residential homes, mental health rehabilitation hospitals, domiciliary work, private Care Work (children and adults)... etc. These experiences, as well as my own personal privileges such as looking after own grandmother, have supported me to become a well-rounded individual, who values person-centred care foremost, as well as preserving dignity, ensuring respect and equality, encouraging interaction and communication and promoting independence where possible. I strongly believe in taking the time to support all individuals in the way in which they choose to be supported.
