I have had the opportunity to advocate and support clients providing individual client care. Providing emotional support through active listening to the client's concerns ie making sure they understand procedures, which will then alleviate any anxiety they may feel at the time. I have also learned to recognise when a client is in distress by reporting any significant abnormalities to the nurse in charge. I have had experience in personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, toileting, and dressing whilst enabling clients to maintain their dignity and independence where necessary. I always make sure to adhere to hygiene protocols and use PPE to prevent spreading infections within different environments. I have worked alongside other healthcare professionals to aid in coordinating all clients. I am a keen learner and value professional development and would embrace any training required to improve the care that is needed for any client. I am a reliable, patient, skilled individual who is keen to secure full-time employment within a different environment.
