I ...More I am a trained mental health nurse and work on the trust bank as a Dementia Specialist Practitioner. I specialise in providing care to early and late stage dementia clients. I am able to carry out risk assessments, safety plans, care plans, sign-posting and liaise effectively with other agencies. I have recently worked as Dementia Specialist Admiral Nurse, working alongside others to help provide a service to support families affected by Dementia. I have also worked for agencies as a carer. I have extensive experience within the community and strongly advocate that the client is treated holistically and the care is person centred. I am very compassionate and empathetic; I enjoy supporting people and promoting their independence! In my spare time I enjoy singing in my church choir, listening to music, dancing, travelling and meeting new people from various walks of life.
