I love w...More Hello my name is Paige, I am British and I speak English. I have been a carer now for 5 years now and have worked at care homes and have learnt lots. I am also a childcare worker, working at a school, I have full childcare experience working with children from newborn to teenager years. I love working at the school and looking after the little ones and also playing lots and lots of sports and activities as that is what we all enjoy the most! On a daily basis I would look after each of my residents by doing their personal care in the morning. Getting them washed and dressed and ready for their day. Assisting the residents with mobility by moving some of them downstairs for their first meal of the day. Residents whom require continence care will be watched and checked on all the time and many residents had pads which need to be changed within usually 2 hours. Ensuring all residents are happy and fulfilled throughout the day is key. Fluid checks are carried out throughout the day numerous times. Giving the residents their lunch, tea and then dinner. All residents to be washed and dressed, ready for bed and then if applicable transfer safely into bed.
