    As a dedicated care worker with 14 years of experience, working in domiciliary care in my community and for the last 8 years I have worked in the same care home for the elderly. I’ve learned that being a great carer means: Empathy and Compassion: We listen, celebrate joys, and share sorrows. Patience and Understanding: We move at their pace, assisting with care. Advocacy: We fight for dignity and rights. Resilience: Small victories keep us going. Kindness: Simple acts create lasting connections. Being a great carer is a privilege—a chance to make a difference. I am currently working 3 shifts per week in my current role where I know my rota 1 month in advance, I am looking for regular clients that I can work alongside my current job. I am flexible on the sleeping I can offer Monday to Friday but I prefer to do 2 nights per week. When working with clients I enjoy cooking healthy well balanced meals, when starting out with a new client I like to sit down and discuss what they enjoy eating. I am happy to offer light household cleaning and keeping the clients home free from falling hazards. For maintaining mental health of my clients I am happy to take them into their local community whether that's is out for a day trip, coffee or their local community centre. I am experienced with working as part of a team of care professional but I can also work independently as well I am also happy to learn new skills if required to call for any of my clients. I am looking for longer shifts of more than 3 hours. I am looking for female clients only.

    Excellent

    Extremely reliable, efficient and very good at cleaning and cooking. She has excellent initiative and just gets on with the jobs that need doing. I don't need to tell her how to do things, she just knows. She also adapted very quickly to my obsessional ways of doing things. I highly recommend her as a PA, as long as she doesn't leave me!

    Excellent

    I highly recommend Hodan for her outstanding care of my sister with MS. She is patient, encouraging and adaptable, combining genuine kindness with professionalism. Hodan cooks very well and cleans efficiently, keeps everything tidy and hygienic, and responds sensitively to my sister's changing physical and emotional needs. She's also extremely reliable, punctual and respectful, and she has greatly improved my sister’s wellbeing and given us lasting confidence and the peace of mind we needed.
