Being empathetic I have always enjoyed making a difference to people's lives because I understand how hard life can get. Naturally, due to being a part of a big family I have always loved being around people and caring for others even strangers too. Even though my background is in Law and Civil Liberties. I enjoy the practical skills and experience caring has provided for me. Caring since I was 19 as a side job I have truly enjoyed the challenges I have ten year's experience in different care environments nursing home, live in, residential, dementia, palliative, end of life, catheter care, oncology, challenging behaviour, mental health, stroke, brain injury (neurological impairment), deaf, blindness, physical disability. The vast hands on experience has been invaluable part of my journey in the health and social care sector. However, I am always looking forward ways to deliver a high standard of care in the comfort of people's own home. I enjoy travelling around the UK for different care assignments and generally on my break too. I would say that my love for cooking stems from my travelling. What ever dish it may be whether it be an English Sunday Roast, or a Turkisk tava, or even a simple cook book recipe I am a fanatic cook. I love to think that my clients are eating hearty, nutritional meals to aid in their health. If I'm not cooking then I'm usually out on walks in a field or just out and about. My love for exploring has always been a positive factor for my clients because I enjoy taking my clients to new places and allowing them to breathe some fresh air. Companionship for me is a big part of care and finding ways to bond with your clients via outings is a fantastic way to learn about others.
