I am compassionate, patient, and always take the time to listen and provide support in a way that helps people feel comfortable and valued. I enjoy building positive relationships and making sure people maintain their dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
I love being a carer because I find it rewarding to make a difference in people’s lives, whether that is through practical support, emotional encouragement, or simply being there to provide companionship. I understand that every person is different, and I adapt my approach to meet their needs while promoting person-centred care.
I carry out my work professionally and take pride in being reliable, trustworthy, and organised. I work well both independently and as part of a team and always aim to provide high standards of care. I remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and am committed to ensuring people feel safe, respected, and supported at all times. I am passionate about continuing to develop my skills and providing the best possible care to those I support.
I am also in my finale year as a student nurse. Which I really enjoy doing. I enjoy nursing because I love being able to support people, make positive difference in their lives, and continuously learn and develop my skills. I find it rewarding to build meaningful relationships with patients and provide compassionate, person centred care. Throughout my training I’ve had placements across different areas of the hospital, giving me exposure to a wide range of conditions and complex clinical situations. These experiences have broadened my knowledge and understanding, strengthened my clinic skills and helped me develop greater confidence in providing person centred care.
