I...More
I am a dedicated and compassionate Live-in Carer and Supported Living Care Professional with over 10 years of experience in the UK social care sector. I provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, ensuring dignity, safety, comfort, and independence at all times.
I pride myself on being calm, patient, and always in control, even when faced with challenging or sensitive situations. I am friendly, down to earth, and approachable, which enables me to build strong, trusting relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. I fit naturally into people’s homes, respecting their routines, cultural values, and personal preferences while maintaining professionalism and healthy boundaries.
I strive to create a warm and supportive home environment where clients feel safe, respected, and valued. I am a confident cook and enjoy preparing nutritious meals tailored to each individual’s dietary, cultural, and medical requirements. I also believe in spending meaningful time with clients to enhance emotional wellbeing, reduce loneliness, and encourage social engagement both at home and within the community.
My approach is rooted in the core values of UK social care, including dignity, respect, compassion, empathy, safeguarding, equality, inclusion, professionalism, confidentiality, and promoting independence and choice. I follow the Health and Social Care Standards and continuously update my knowledge through ongoing professional development.
