I'm the youngest of his 9 children and always worked in an office, but whilst caring for my dad I began to wonder how many people are our there who do not have family to look after and care for them at their end of life. So I left my day job with no job to go to, started praying to God for an answer on where and how I could provide the same care I had given my dad to someone who I didn’t even know. The next thing I knew, Live in Care Jobs popped up on my laptop, and the rest is history. I have worked as a deputy manager for a residential home, and the service users needed complex care. I managed a team of sixteen staff. Ordering medication, liaising with professionals, did DBS checks, supervisions, weekly summaries, and more. I absolutely enjoyed the role of which I am very passionate.
