I enjoy my job as it gives me the opportunity to make a positive impact on other people’s lives. I have worked with individuals with learning disabilities, as well as those with medically induced disabilities that limit their ability to move their bodies. I have effectively collaborated as part of a care team, providing assistance to nurses in charge and care institutions that support up to 10 service users, while also providing home care for individual service users. I have experience in delivering personal care, such as dental hygiene, bathing, and toileting. I am skilled in monitoring multiple service users' emotional states and applying appropriate safety intervention methods to maintain a safe environment for both the service users and all personnel involved. I became a carer because of my grandfather, who, due to an accident, was unable to fully take care of himself. My family and I actively assisted him with his daily tasks. This experience gave me a great sense of worth and helped me build a better and deeper relationship with him. I enjoy running, gardening, and art, with my favourite sport being cricket.
