I have worked with people with learning difficulties, the elderly in care homes, dementia patients, and those with chronic conditions. I have also provided care during bereavement. Recently, I have provided care for mental health both in the community and in hospital. I can assist with personal care using a hoist, standing aid, zimmer frame, and bath hoists, as well as cooking, laundry, shopping, ironing, and gardening. Before becoming a carer, I worked as a primary teacher for 10 years, and I enjoyed the experience of working with children. I’m passionate about sports and healthy living. I enjoy watching football and support Reading and Chelsea. I play volleyball and like running. I have run for charity, including cancer and reading marathons, to keep myself fit. I'm a Christian, and I attend church. I enjoy singing and teaching Sunday school. My working hours are negotiable and flexible: short days, long days, waking nights, and live-in care.
