I want to see my patient's health improve and if it doesn't improve and they are put on an end-of-life pathway I will try my utmost best to make sure that my patient is comfortable and also their family members are by being understanding and showing compassion. I love learning and in nursing, you are ever learning, practicing at Homerton has taught me that. My strength is that I am organised and know how to prioritise my work during a shift, during my recent practice I was given the opportunity to be independent and manage my own bay with supervision of Course and in that experience, I have figured out a routine that will help me manage my time including any emergency situations that may occur. In addition to this, I'm very professional towards my fellow colleagues, and other members of the multidisciplinary team including patients and their family members. Teamwork is an important aspect of nursing and I've learnt to work with others regardless of the differences we may have. I am aware and understand the importance of confidentiality in health and social care and in most businesses and careers. Being able to handle personal details, data and other private information is vital for an organisation to operate, retain clients trust and meet specific compliance laws and regulations.
