I have a lot of experience with moving and handling equipment such as hoists, stand aids, sara stedy and bathroom aids. In my previous positions I have cared for clients with dementia, physical disabilities, Multiple Sclerosis, mental health, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression. I am able to support with companionship, personal care, safe administration of medication, budgeting, shopping, cooking healthy meals. Support with cleaning and housekeeping. Support client with care co-ordination and communicating with other Services e.g. GPs surgery, pharmacist, dentist, family, social services etc. Support client to attend appointments and access community activities for social interaction. I have a clean UK driving licence.
I have experience of working with clients that have required care of catheters and peg feeding this has been learned on the job, no formal qualifications have been achieved but I am confident in using them and happy to have my work signed of by the clients district nurse.
I am looking for live in clients on a 2 week on 2 week off rotation.
On my 2 weeks off rotation I am also looking for clients for day and night time shifts.
