ML11 8QL 77648 I have worked with different people of different ages, backgrounds within different organisations. I am very professional to represent the organisation that i work for to meet the required Care Standards, code of conduct and policies. I am able to support individuals in a Person Centred way to enable them to live independently within their own homes. I am able to identify risk according to Health and Safety legislations and policies. Throughout my work experiences as a Support Worker, Live in and as a Care Assistant i have worked with people from different enthnicity treating them equally in a dignified way as per their preferences to provide quality care. I have worked with people that have Autism, Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Live in, companionship and severe challenging behaviours. ML8 5EZ 268550 I have 30 years experience in care and 20 of those years have also been as an unpaid carer alongside my working role. I am compassionate, enjoy meeting people and genuinely care - treat no one any less than you would like to be treated yourself is my motto. I have cared for people with dementia, Parkinson’s, neurological disorders, chronic mental health issues, amputations, and assisted with rehabilitation where appropriate. I was a midwife for 30 years and latterly worked as a carer support worker supporting unpaid carers. I have a great insight into the struggles and impact on families caring for family members juggling work, caring and every day life and to know that your loved one is being cared for provides peace of mind, reduces anxiety and stress allowing the families carers strain to be alleviated. I am willing to provide live in respite care for individuals or couples to enable clients to remain active in the community and feel supported with daily living, socialising and meeting family. I enjoy caring, meeting people and enjoy cooking. I have a clean driving license. I strive to go above and beyond and take pride in my work. ML11 0RF 281298 I enjoy meeting new people and helping them live independently or assisting them being able to get out of the house for shopping and appointments I think an important role for being a carer is the client knowing they have some companionship and are able to get help with what they need. Understanding the care and support each and every client needs and how they differ, but being able to adapt to their care needs and also understand the person be confidential and respect each clients dignity and privacy. To be respectful is a clients house and space let them know you are there for them if they need assistance but encourage independence as and when possible. A day with me as a carer might start out with helping them out of bed and assisting them in the shower, then preparing the breakfast and meds that need to be taken. Then it could be that the client has a hospital appointment or needs to collect shopping they may just want to go for a drive in the car or a walk to somewhere. Being a carer is being able to cater to someone’s personal needs and things that they would like to do. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"0","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":"0"}

ML9 3AW 117017 Hello, My name is Debbie, and I have been working within the care industry for just over 7 years now. I started doing community care, then moved into residential care and finally live-in care. Along the way, I learnt that the most important things when caring for someone is to have empathy, patience, and a true understanding of that person's needs. Confidentiality is extremely important to me. I always give 100% of myself. Some of the other things I have are: - Advanced First aid Communication and interpersonal skills - Monitoring and recording patient data - Confidentiality - Dressing wounds and administering medication Hygiene and health and safety Time management - Meal preparation - Gardening - Outings 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 5, 3"}

ML9 1RD 266700 I am a laid back and fun person, I have a passionate belief that everyone deserves the utmost care. My motto is as long as my service user is happy, I am happy. I am a very flexible person and always do my best to conduct the best care in the interest of the person receiving my care. I have been a professional carer since October 2022 starting in home care and then moving to a company where I predominantly work in Scottish autism. I have lots of years of personal experience as I have a younger sister who has a very severe case of cerebral palsy, therefore I have a great understanding of a few disabilities and how to handle/ care for this. I treat everyone I care for the same as I would treat my sister because I think it is important to treat everyone like family as some care can be very invasive. I feel I have learnt a lot from the people I have cared for, may that be listening to old war stories and getting a cup of tea or helping someone bathe and get ready for the day ahead. I am currently working towards my SVQ 3 in health and social care. I previously was a nursery teacher so working with children is also something I enjoy. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":""}
