I am an advocate for justice and safeguarding the vulnerable. I have a patient, caring and kind temperament, with a fun sense of humour. My various aspects of employment and life experience have lent themselves to my becoming a conscientious, professional and dedicated housekeeper/carer with high standards and good culinary skills. During my children’s young teenage years, I became a foster carer for abused teenagers, which I found very challenging but rewarding. In this time, I undertook an NVQ1 course in ceramics and pursued my hobbies of arts and crafts, namely glass-painting and floristry, which I promoted to all the children in my care. As my children furthered their education, it seemed to me a natural progression to become a carer. I highly value my job choice and it is and has been my privilege to look after people in all aspects of their required care, whether it be community, companion or palliative.
