I am available for Befriending visits, Support worker, home help care visits, Light support , Personal care, administering medications, home help, sitting with loved ones at home or in hospitals, Late notice emergency visits, It is entirely up to you which you require. I adapt to individuals needs and requirements. Services I support are hourly visits, Block visits of 1 hour plus, Sleep over and awake nightshifts, Walking doggies, Cat care, Fetching shopping and Medication, Taking clients out to do their own shopping, Garden center visits, Family visits, Doing puzzles, Encouraging and monitoring food drink intake, etc, Gardening, (Light Housework include hoovering, Taking bins out, Wiping over kitchen surfaces, Bed change.) I'm a Warm friendly, Cheerful lady with patients, Good sense of humor and a smile, I very much enjoy my work in the past 27 years supporting many people with different health conditions. My background started in Residential care for our lovely older generation, Clients with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, MS, Stokes, Palliative care etc, Carrying out duties of personal care, Encouraging drinks and food, Encouraging activities with the clients such as chair exercise’s, arts and crafts, Quizzes, Gardening, Day trips to the seaside. I moved onto one to one care in the community, Building up a good rapport , Trust and friendship with my clients, Ensuring safety and clients wellbeing came first, Following care plan’s, Monitoring health issues, Accompanying to hospital doctor's appointments, Liaising with families, outside agencies, supporting personal care, taking observations, domestic chores and encouraging social life activities, I love animals and happy to walk doggies, Vet visits, changing cat litter trays and feeding the birds, enabling clients to lead an individual independent life in their own home. I have also worked with a Rehab team with qualified nurses for individuals being admitted/discharged to/from hospital, trying to avoid hospital admittance and also encouraging clients to do things they used to do before hospital stays. I am a good companion, a good listener and am able to put loved ones at ease and of course will always make time for a cup of tea and chatter. Please note my daily hourly rate is £20 per hour plus Curam's fee of £3 per hour.
