I have been a carer since 2000 and have worked in various settings, helping a range of people set about their daily lives. I am conscientious and will work with you and your care plan to ensure that you are safe and happy having me in your home. Experienced in Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI), Dementia, Deep Brain Stimulus (DBS), Autism, and general health. I have used hoists all my career and have completed courses for insulin administration and for wound care. I am also the Moving and Handling trainer for new carers in my current work place.. My care work is not my job. It is my way of life and I love what I do. I am married, have an adult son and daughter and 3 grandchildren who are all great at keeping me busy!
