This has provided me with a wealth of information both observed and experienced as a Carer. With the current shift in the health industry, there is an increasing demand for Acute and High Dependence Service Users to be looked after in the community/home. As a Service Provider, I therefore, have to excel to the challenging demands to ‘normalize’ acute clinical needs of my clients within their family settings. I have become more aware of family dynamics and the impact this has to the wellbeing of my Clients, and empathetic of the Clients’ Families members-whose needs are often times over looked. I have experience of working with Children and Young People from my professional work as a Play and Art Therapist in Schools. This experience and knowledge has allowed me to offer a Holistic approach, when in supportive roles as Health Support Worker. Yours Sincerely. Lucy
