I looked after elderly clients, dementia sufferers, autism, learning difficulties. I worked in care industry for more than 10 years and I really enjoy my job providing personal care and hygiene, washing dressing, mouth care, preparing meals, assisting with feeding and administering medication. General cleaning, laundry, ironing. Supervising activities inside and outside, help clients to enjoy their interests and hobbies I enjoy to work with other health and social care professionals. Following healthy and safety procedures at all times. Getting to know clients their interests and personal needs, make them feel comfortable and have independence in their own home, providing companionship. I can work independently as well I am aware of the importance of cultural diversity, safety, respect, dignity and confidentiality that are to be maintained I have looked after some members of my family including my father and mother who were diagnosed cancer, I looked after them until the end of their life. For some bed ridden clients I am aware that they require pressure injury care to minimise and prevent pressure sores. After my parents death I just felt to become a health care assistant was the right choice. I can provide great care to you and your loved one from a place of compassion and understanding. I have completed learning moving and handling, safeguarding adults, children, administering medication just to name few with the Health and Safety Group I am calm and patient, helpful and caring good communicator adaptable and good listener. I possess good written and verbal communication skills I enjoy reading, listening to the music, cooking, watching television. I also enjoy gardening . I understand that every client is individual and that their care must be personalised, because of this I like to offer an initial trial period where we can get to know one another and I can learn your routine. We can then discuss and review. From then on I can offer ongoing rotations up to 4 weeks on before taking a 1 week break. I do like to take a 2 hour break each day to continue to offer you the best possible care. As I do not drive currently I can easily assist clients within a 50 mile radius of GU11 postcode and has good method of public transport. However if there are good transport links I am happy to travel further to assist you and your loved ones. Please get in touch if you think I could help you, I look forward to hearing from you.
