I have worked for private care companies offering daily home care visits. These visits consisted of medication pro...More Hi, my name is Amanda, I am a 58 year old mother of 3 grown up children. I have over 20 years experience in care. Firstly I studied pre nursing caring services at college for 3 years. I have worked for private care companies offering daily home care visits. These visits consisted of medication prompts personal care, food preparation. I have also worked with both physically and mentally handicapped adults and those with complex needs and behaviours. encouraging them and supporting them to live as independently as possible. I am a car owner and driver with business insurance and am willing to travel approx 100 miles from home. I would prefer to work live in on a 2 week on 2 week off basis but can be adaptable. I can work Bank Holidays at a rate of 1.5 times usual daily rate. I can follow care plans and am proficient in liaising with other professionals when needed. I am also a good cook and am able to provide tasty well balanced and nutritional food. Travel expenses will need to be paid by client based on the government rate. I am available from 22nd June 2023 due to other commitments.
