Few of my work role includes- Assisting patients with compassion while ensuring their privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected, such as showering or giving body wash, dressing and grooming them, and as well as supporting with eating and drinking. - By taking their temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight, doctors are able to keep track of their patients' health. -Assisting patients who may need to be changed while they are being cared for by a Licensed Nurse. -According to Trust policies, protocols and guidelines, providing routine patient care duties at one's own discretion - participating in the taking and recording of observations under supervision of a registered nurse and reporting the results to the nurse in charge - As soon as possible, recognising the limitations and raising the alarm. - Providing emotional support to Individuals and residents - Making it easier for patients to learn new skills by encouraging them, teaching and showing them what they enjoy doing such as painting. - Making sure all care needs are met at the highest possible level by working hand in hand with other healthcare professionals.
