I have previous experience in an elderly care home and enjoy the role of helping and assisting people who are unable to carry out everyday tasks themselves. I am physically fit and have dealt with some challenging and unpleasant circumstances, but I am not deterred by this and strive to provide the best support and help to those in need. My role has varied, from helping patients to get up in the morning to assisting them with their meals, providing activities, and offering light exercise, including taking them for walks in the garden. I communicate well with others and spend a lot of time interacting with residents, as well as visitors and relatives who come to see their family members. I am also very organised and work well while managing multiple tasks at once. I am flexible with my working pattern and have experience doing both night shifts and daytime shifts.
