I hold Health and Social Care Level 3 and 5 qualifications, and I'm also trained in phlebotomy. I pride myself on my excellent communication skills and calm, optimistic approach to care. Over the years, I have supported adults and children with a wide range of needs, including mobility support, personal care, dementia support, stroke rehabilitation, and emotional wellbeing. I have worked in both live-out and respite care roles, always aiming to deliver safe, respectful and high-quality care that helps clients feel comfortable, secure and independent in their own environment. I am confident with medical documentation and enjoy delivering consistent, person-centred care. I have a full UK driver’s license and my own car, so I’m happy to travel for work and to support clients with their needs. I became a carer because I enjoy making a difference in people's lives. I find deep meaning in supporting vulnerable individuals to feel heard, respected and cared for. Prior to my current roles, I worked in the hospital where I learned the importance of dignity, patience and teamwork in healthcare. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time with my family. I’m also very comfortable using computers and digital systems for care logging and communication. Please get in touch if you think I could be the right match for your care needs.
