I am friendly and know when to showing empathy and compassion. I am seeking a change as I now want to work as a full time self employed Carer so looking forward to making new changes and dealing with new challenges ensuring the dignity and respect of the service users as I love spending time with people. It is rewarding for me to help and give some support and personal care to a vulnerable or elderly person who would benefit from it. When my late Grandmother was alive I would run errands including picking up and dropping off shopping at home voluntarily deliver person care e.i. wash and dress, combed her hair, feed and enjoy her company which I love and miss. Prior to this I did take up some work experience at a nearby care home delivering similar care including toileting and getting clients safely into bed. I pride myself in being reliable and trustworthy as a carer, putting the care and needs of others first whilst maintaining there independence. I can be flexible if given plenty of notice and adapt and adjust to new procedures. I fully understand the need for confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and Safeguarding issues. I hold good customer service and hope to continue this has a Carer. I work good as a team player and am able to priorities my own workload when left to work alone on own initiative. I am fit so have no problems keep up with heavy lifting. I have a Basic Life Support certificate and Food Hygiene Certificate. I have a car and drive holding a Full driving licence. I enjoy bike rides, dog walks to the local parks and cooking, reading and planning day time events and activities. i am passionate, motivated, attentive, and displaying a high degree of integrity and sense of excellence. As a Carer I do have a full licence and do own my on car.
