I went on to work with people with learning disabilities for five years, after a year of working with adults with physical disabilities, and three years of supporting women on the streets of London. I have been doing live-in care work, mostly with the elderly, although not exclusively, since 2017. I trained extensively over a period of 9 years as a support worker and carer, taking various courses and basic training, including the Care Certificate, Moving and Handling, Medication Training, Epilepsy Training, Dementia Training, Health and Safety, and First Aid at Work. I have recently (2025) renewed all training. I am also a massage therapist. I have worked extensively over the years on retreats, as well as in my own practice, and I have spent the last two summers giving massage at a hot springs resort in the mountains of California. I am patient and kind, with a peaceful, calming presence. I am a good listener, and enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. I am also a trained counselor and life coach, so listening is a big part of the care I offer. I love walking in nature, swimming in the sea, dancing, playing the ukulele and singing, writing, reading, and travelling.
