Kind, caring and hardworking. At least that’s how my previous clients, friends and family would describe me.

I have 9 years experience in the care industry working and providing high levels of client centered care. I enjoy the social interactions, broadening my mind and getting to know my clients and their families on a more personal level as well as maintaining professionalism.
I have a gcse (o-level) in health and social care as well as a level 3 diploma in adult care, although I would like the opportunity to help the younger generation (children and adolescents) also, as I can relate to all ages of life.
I specialize in complex dementia needs and have the most experience in atypical and typical Parkinsons and Lewy bodies. I have worked a lot with motor neurone disease and in palliative care. From my past clients I have felt honored working in end of life palliative care. The first time I saw death, when I was a child, I felt a little scared, but now I have come to realize that death is inevitable - from my time working in the ambulance service - and getting to spend those last moments caring for someone is a beautiful as well as very sad part of life.
I enjoy driving and have a clean driving license and enjoy both planning and taking clients out for scenic trips and going to national trust places for them to enjoy the breath taking views, smells and experiences.
I was just leaving school when I got my first job as a carer. I thought I'd try it out and see how it went because my mother and I used to visit a care home every Friday afternoon to see a friend. I tried it and the only feedback I've ever gotten is thanks, gratitude and positivity, so I soon realized that this was what I'm good at so why not continue.
I love to ski! In fact, it’s my favourite hobby so much so that when I was 7 yrs old I had a skiing accident and fractured my knee cap. (I still ski now in case you wondered.) I am a pianist of 18 yrs and in my own space I can play pieces such as ‘Moonriver’, ‘Canon in D’, ‘make me a channel of your peace’ ect. I like both classical and modern music. Really sorry, but I think Mozart is overrated although I have been to the house in which he was born in Salzburg, Austria.
Currently I am in the process of updating my training certificates, until this is completed I am looking for clients that are more mobile and do not require hoisting or personal care.
Please get in touch, I’d love to hear from you. ?

Excellent
Kaleb has an impressive ability to establish excellent rapport with a new client. He has got to know my elderly disabled father soon after discharge from hospital, which has gone a long way to help my father continue to recover well. Kaleb's competence and calm confidence has already made him invaluable whilst my husband & I juggle care for our respective parents. A truly impressive professional, Kaleb takes our family situation and need for Dad-care in his stride calmly, reliably & very ably.
