I have also worked as a Senior Carer for 4 years in the Dementia care unit, elderly and supported living. I did supervision and observations on carers. I am currently working with the youth in church. Over the years I have learnt to work with different clients and have learnt a lot from them. I started off with the young people with Autism, then went and worked in the hospital on different wards. I then went and worked with Dementia clients who had different types of Dementia. I have also worked with clients who were fitted with stoma bags, catheters, this has been learned on the job. I have also worked as a support worker, with learning disability clients supporting them to lead an independent life. I have also worked with stroke clients, using different moving and handling equipment, have also worked with seizures and epileptic clients. Currently working in the community with all ages. In my experience I have assisted all the the clients with all aspects of Personal care, ie washing and dressing. Applying their prescribed creams. I also administer or prompts with medication. Keeping the home clean, cooking, shopping etc. My hobbies are watching movies, reading, listening to music and singing, driving to places.

Precious has been looking after mum for 5 months now, and would be doing so going forward if she could be cloned to enable the 7 day per week cover we require. Precious has provided care in a unique way to mum, singing to her, reading from the bible, and even playing a form of tennis. Precious has also supported the family on our journey of learning to care for a family member with dementia. We will miss her greatly. Thank you for everything Precious.
