I have also worked as a Senior Carer for 4 years in a dementia care unit, supporting the elderly and those in supported living. In this role, I conducted supervision and observations of carers. I am currently working with the youth in my church.
Over the years, I have learnt to work with various clients and have gained valuable insights from them. I started with young individuals with autism, then worked in a hospital across different wards. I later focused on dementia clients, who had different types of dementia.
I have also worked with clients who were fitted with stoma bags and catheters, skills I developed on the job. Additionally, I have served as a support worker for clients with learning disabilities, assisting them in leading independent lives. My experience includes working with stroke patients, using various moving and handling equipment, as well as supporting clients with seizures and epilepsy. Currently, I work in the community with individuals of all ages.
In my experience, I have assisted all clients with aspects of personal care, such as washing and dressing, applying prescribed creams, and administering or prompting medication. I also help keep the home clean, cook, and shop.
My hobbies include watching movies, reading, listening to music and singing, and driving to new places.

Precious has been looking after mum for 5 months now, and would be doing so going forward if she could be cloned to enable the 7 day per week cover we require. Precious has provided care in a unique way to mum, singing to her, reading from the bible, and even playing a form of tennis. Precious has also supported the family on our journey of learning to care for a family member with dementia. We will miss her greatly. Thank you for everything Precious.
