Also, I have gained valuable experience and a weath of knowledge in the field of health and social care for over 20 years. I have achieved a Level 5 Diploma Qualification in Adult Nursing Education. As a prior staff nurse I have delivered outstanding nursing care throughout my clinical practice. My role as a Home Carer involves supporting the needs of the frail and elderly. As a Home Carer I have provided client centred care to an elderly lady who requires assistance with daily living activities such as personal care (use of hoisting, eating /drinking, and the administration of medication. I have
gained relevant experience working with palliative care patients in the community. It was essential that the level of care was optimised to improve the quality of a person's life. I have worked with people affected with Dementia /Alzheimers and helped support their families.
I am naturally a compassionate person. I am a friendly and ensure that clients feel valued and receive a high level of service. I am passionate about my role as a Home Carer because I enjoy building a trusting friendship with people from a wide variety of backgrounds. In my role as a Home Carer I feel that I am making a significant difference to people's daily lives.
In my experience, many of my clients that I visit really appreciate the simple things that I do for them. For example, when I hand some chocolates on a clients birthday as a kind gesture it is lovely to see a smile on their face.
I have recently moved from Surrey to Banbury, Oxfordshire. I am interested in walking, reading and visiting family.
I love to be outside especially with nature and the countryside as it is so scenic and calming.
I really hope and look forward to hearing from you.

Excellent
Mary is a wonderful carer. She is kind, reliable, responsive and really empathises with the person she is looking after as well as their family. My Mum has taken to her immediately and she has been a lifesaver for our family.

Excellent
Mary is absolutely fantastic. She is such a caring person and engages so well with her client. My mum is a very reserved person, but has taken to Mary immediately. Mary is innovative, she normally takes mum for a walk but when it is raining she has a little exercise regime that she does indoors, which was fabulous. Having come from the care industry I knew what I wanted in a carer and to be honest Mary is more than I ever expected to find. She is also very flexible and so easy to deal with.

Excellent
Mary stepped into my mother’s life just when we most needed her. She was professional, calm, empathetic and had lots of patience. She was also organised, respectful and discreet and a good communicator . Anyone who has Mary will be very lucky and will be in a safe pair of hands. I couldn’t recommend her more highly
