I also looked after my mother, who has muscular dystrophy and is confined to a ...More For the past seven years , I have been a caregiver. Even before I started working as a care provider. I had first-hand experience caring for my now deceased grandmother, who in her later years became bedridden and blind. I also looked after my mother, who has muscular dystrophy and is confined to a wheelchair and with catheter. Having witnessed my family members struggle both physically and mentally has given me the ability to care for and have empathy for those who are experiencing similar challenges. I also have a family on my own , including three children from a successful marriage of 24years. In these 24 years, I’ve come to see that love is more than just having feelings of adoration for someone, it also shows in acts of kindness and generosity toward others.Since not everyone has the good fortune to experience it, I love to include such qualities into the work I do. This is why I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family and friends , as doing so makes me happy and enables me to help others. I enjoy taking care of myself by going for walks and reading.
