I was offered a job in the same home where I worked for 2 years and then worked as a live-in carer for 2 years after which I worked in the community looking after clients with autism and spinal injury for 4 years. I joined NHSP in 2017 after qualifying L3 in Health and Social where I work in different wards, for example, Dementia, stroke, and spinal. In all these wards I support patients with their daily needs promoting independence respecting their values and promoting dignity and diversity, managing commodes, bedpans, catheters, stoma bags, pressure sores areas, blood pressure observations, blood sugars, peg feed, I also worked in the NHS Trust for 11 months where I resigned to remain in the NHSP Banking up to date. I like communicating with patients, create activities, and supporting them to achieve their goals.
