I have maintained my practice as a carer and a registered member of Social Care Wales, l also have a Diploma in leadership and Management in Adult care level 5 and a degree in Health and Social Care Management.I am strongly committed to supporting vulnerable individuals and improving their quality of life including those with dementia, elderly, autism, learning disabilities and even those with mental issues. Working with different clients with different issues, and mostly caring for the elderly, enabled me to change the lives of vulnerable people as well as their families. I developed strong committed of exploring what theory means to practice and everyday lives of vulnerable people . I have a natural passion for helping and I put others needs above my own as I know that carers need to be supportive, understanding and sensitive when dealing with them at their most vulnerable, and being passionate always helps me to do my career with the necessary degree of compassion. My flexible nature helps me to be dependable and reliable. I'm always ready to change my schedule and hours to suit the needs of my client. My listening skills helps me to engage with my clients and respond to what they want, in line with respecting their wishes and preferences. Organisation, planning and multi-process skill helps a lot while dealing with the clients especially in my responsibilities goes to a level for certain aspects of my clients home. This includes things like food planning, shopping and cooking, paying bills, posting letters, medical and appointment. Making a lists of my duties helps me to be organised. I have also learnt to be patient and calm as most of my clients are slower in moving about or rather explaining what they need so I make sure I gave them time. I like knitting, mountain climbing, cooking and walking and word puzzle during my free time and I like putting my interests into practice along with my clients interest too.
