I am also able to adapt to new situations and adapt to different strategies. Having three years experience working with people with different physical, mental and emotional needs, it has helped me to develop a caring nature. I have developed in communication, teamwork and listening skills. I am now able to demonstrate this with my work colleagues, services users and their families without any concerns. After working within the adults care industry, which includes caring for an individual with mental health issues, I chose to undertake an eight week online course in Health and Social Care Level 1 to expand my knowledge in this area. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, cleaning and sharing the Gambian culture with my friends also taking my children out for social activities. This helps to create a balanced lifestyle which is also helps to create a healthy mind and body.
