Among the clients l have supported are those with Dementia, Alzheimer's, incontinence, immobility issues and those at the end of their lives. My shift preferences are wake nights, sleep-ins, day and hourly. Before l became a carer l began to train as a nurse but left, after the first year, to pursue a secretarial course. In both cases l met and helped people of all walks of life with different needs and this is what inspired me to become a carer. l have a passion for shopping, crossword puzzles, watching TV especially religious programmes, action movies and drama. Furthermore, l am the administrator of my local church. l make sure things run smoothly and to the satisfaction of everyone concerned. The above is a summary of who l am, as a carer.
