I have worked in care homes and supported people living with learning disabilities and mental illness. I have also had experience of working in schools to support students with special needs. I love being able to support and assist clients in their everyday needs. I am very hard working and I have worked in most care environments including care homes, psychiatric wards, supported living, cardiac hospital wards and day centres. I enjoy taking clients bowling, cinema, art galleries, museums and the library. I believe in giving clients quality care and I am very driven and compassionate. In my free time I enjoy swimming and sight seeing. I am very qualified as I have a degree in Health and Psychology which has helped me understand more about different health related issues including various diseases and different health policies and legislations. I have also worked as an assesor to NVQ Health and Social Care students where I have evaluated their work competencies in a care environment settings and graded their final work. With all my experiences and qualifications, I believe I will continue to be an exceptional care assistant.

    Martha is a kind and caring person. She was very understanding with our son, who has a learning disability. Her experience meant she was able to take any difficulties with him in her stride. Martha was a welcome and cheerful presence in our house!
