I have worked in the care industry for almost 17 years, specialising in mental health, learning disabilities, and children's care. However, I have worked with many other clients in the past, including the elderly, drug rehabilitation, and brain injury, to name a few. I have also completed many tenancy support contracts, assisting clients in securing their tenancies. I have just completed my foundation degree in social care, which equates to a Level 5 NVQ. Personally, I have experience caring for a friend with secondary progressive MS, a partner who had Stage 4 cancer, and my ex-partner's two autistic sons, along with my daughter, who has also been diagnosed with autism. I am very active and enjoy engaging in community activities. I like going to the beach, shopping, and walking my dog, as well as swimming, bowling, and trampolining. When I'm home, I enjoy watching Australian soaps and comedy films, along with cooking and property renovations. I can provide care for 2-8 hours a day, depending on your needs. If you need to travel, I am happy to support you using public transport or my own car. £20 per weekday hourly rate £30 per evening, weekend, or bank holiday hourly rate £60 per hour emergency hourly rate (less than 24 hours' notice) £390 live-in day rate £1,930 live-in week rate Any travel using my personal car is charged at 45p per mile, rounded up to the nearest mile. Any out-of-pocket expenses for activities are paid for by the client prior to the activity taking place (e.g., parking, drinks/snacks, entry fees if free carer entry is unavailable). Invoices are sent out by the 24th of the previous month for the upcoming month. Invoices must be paid prior to shifts commencing. Shift cancellations require a 14-day notice period for refunds to be issued. Day hours are from 8am to 5pm (£20 per hour) Evening and weekend hours are from 5pm to 10pm (£30 per hour) Night/sleep hours are from 10pm to 8am (£110 for 8 hours’ sleep or £60 per hour awake)

    What a lovely lady, punctual, trustworthy and attentive. Very friendly and easy to talk to, she provided great care for my mum, made everyone feel comfortable, it’s not easy to leave a loved in the hands of someone else, so if you are looking for a carer, then Lori is highly recommended.
